Journal of Agronomy Research

Aims and Scope

Journal of Agronomy Research is Open Access, Peer-Reviewed, a journal that circulates Research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to editor and Editorials, and Special Issues on crop management and administration. JAR aims to focus on agro climatology, soil science, crop contamination, crop conservation, crop science, and crop physiology.

The scope of the Journal of Agronomy Research is broad and encompasses a wide range of topics related to agronomy and sustainable agriculture. These may include, but are not limited to:

Crop science: The JAR is interested in research on the biology, physiology, genetics, and management of crops, with a focus on improving yields, quality, and sustainability. This includes studies on plant breeding, plant-soil interactions, plant nutrition, and the impact of environmental factors on crop growth and development.

Soil science: The JAR is committed to publishing research on the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soil and their impact on crop growth and the environment. This includes studies on soil fertility, soil erosion, soil conservation, and the use of sustainable soil management practices.

Precision agriculture: The JAR is dedicated to exploring the use of innovative technologies and approaches in agriculture, with a focus on precision farming techniques. We welcome submissions on the use of drones, satellite imagery, GPS, and other digital tools to improve the efficiency and sustainability of agriculture practices.

Integrated pest management: The JAR is interested in research on the development and implementation of integrated pest management strategies that aim to minimize the use of pesticides and other chemical inputs while still effectively controlling pests. We welcome submissions on the use of biological control agents, cultural practices, and other sustainable approaches to pest management.

Renewable energy in agriculture: The JAR is committed to promoting the use of renewable energy sources in agriculture, with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving the sustainability of agriculture practices. We welcome submissions on the use of solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources in agriculture, as well as on the economic and environmental impacts of these technologies.

Climate change and agriculture: The JAR recognizes the important role that agriculture plays in the global effort to address climate change. We welcome submissions on the impacts of climate change on agriculture, as well as on the development and evaluation of interventions aimed at mitigating these impacts and adapting to a changing climate.

Environmental impacts of agriculture: The JAR is committed to promoting sustainable agriculture practices that minimize negative impacts on the environment. We welcome submissions on the environmental impacts of agriculture, as well as on strategies to mitigate these impacts and promote environmental sustainability. This may include research on the impacts of agriculture on soil health, water quality, air quality, and biodiversity, as well as on the use of sustainable land management practices and conservation agriculture approaches.
