Aims and Scope

Journal of Drug Resistant Pathogen Research (JDRPR) is a leading open-access, peer-reviewed forum dedicated to advancing our understanding of drug-resistant pathogens. Our mission is to illuminate the complex mechanisms behind microbial resistance and to foster the development of innovative strategies for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of drug-resistant infections worldwide.

Scope & Focus Areas: JDRPR welcomes high-quality, original research and reviews that address both the basic and applied aspects of drug-resistant microorganisms. Our dynamic scope includes, but is not limited to, the following themes:

  • Diverse disciplines covered, such as microbiology, infectious disease, and drug discovery
  • Focus on drug-resistant pathogens, drug toxicity, and resistance pathways
  • Manuscripts related to obstructive antimicrobial resistance and novel immunological approaches welcomed
  • Translation of proteomic work and new drug delivery routes explored
  • Research on resistance mechanisms, alternative drug regimens, and microbial interactions encouraged
  • Focus on bacterial diseases, antibiotic resistance, and control strategies
  • Topics include epidemiology, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of drug-resistant infections
  • Research on antibacterial treatments, drug delivery, and resources for drug discovery
  • Exploration of new approaches to combat bacteria, such as resequencing, antimicrobial peptides, and therapeutic phages
  • Scope includes infections, viruses, incidence, mortality, habits, lifestyle, genital warts, genetics, food and nutrition, experimental studies, drug targeting, sensitivity and resistance, diagnostic techniques, and biomarkers

JDRPR encourage submissions that explore the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in drug discovery, personalized medicine, and other innovative approaches to combat drug-resistant pathogens. Contributions from the following research areas are invited but not limited to the following branches
