Journal of Ulcers

Aims and Scope

Journal of Ulcers (JU) is an open-access, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary platform dedicated to exploring and disseminating the latest advancements in ulcer research, diagnosis, and treatment. We invite original research, review articles, case reports, and short communications that showcase cutting-edge developments in the field.

Scope & Focus Areas: JU covers a broad spectrum of topics related to ulcers, including but not limited to:

  • Studies on the cellular, molecular, and systemic processes involved in ulcer development.
  • Research on innovative diagnostic tools and imaging techniques for accurate ulcer assessment.
  • Evaluations of medical and surgical treatment modalities, including novel therapeutic approaches and rehabilitation strategies.
  • In-depth analyses of venous, arterial, diabetic foot, pressure ulcers, and other chronic ulcerative conditions.
  • Investigations into the causes and underlying biological mechanisms of various types of ulcers.
  • Translational research aiming to develop and refine preventive and therapeutic strategies.
  • The application of emerging technologies and techniques in ulcer treatment, including biomaterials, tissue engineering, and digital health innovations.

JU encourage submissions that explore the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and computer vision in improving ulcer detection, predicting treatment outcomes, and personalizing patient care.
