Aims and Scope

Journal of Spleen and Liver Research (JSLR) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scientific and clinical research related to the spleen and liver. We aim to provide the global scientific community with a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements in spleen and liver research, spanning fundamental biology to clinical practice.

Physiology & Pathophysiology:

  • Studies exploring the normal and abnormal functioning of the spleen and liver.
  • Investigations into the molecular, cellular, and systemic mechanisms underlying diseases affecting these organs.

Medical Imaging & Diagnostics:

  • Research on cutting-edge imaging techniques for the diagnosis of spleen and liver conditions.
  • Development of innovative diagnostic tools and biomarkers.

Regenerative Medicine & Therapeutic Advances:

  • Studies on tissue regeneration, stem cell therapies, and novel treatment modalities.
  • Clinical trials and research on the efficacy of emerging therapeutic strategies.

We invite submissions of original research, clinical trials, systematic reviews, case reports, editorials, and commentaries that contribute to the growing body of knowledge in spleen and liver research.

  • Research on surgical, medical, and interventional approaches to manage spleen and liver disorders.
  • Case reports and clinical studies detailing patient outcomes and best practices.
  • Collaborative studies integrating basic science, clinical research, and bioengineering.
  • Translational research that bridges laboratory discoveries with clinical applications.
  • Contributions from international researchers and clinicians addressing diverse challenges in spleen and liver health.
  • JSLR welcomes articles related to the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the fields of hepatology and gastroenterology.
