Aims and Scope

Journal of Pancreas (JPAN) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in pancreatic science and medicine. It serves as a vital platform for medical scientists, clinicians, and surgeons to share pioneering research, innovative techniques, and clinical advancements. The journal publishes high-impact studies, reviews, case reports, perspectives, and special editorials, covering a wide range of topics related to pancreatic health and disease.  
 

JPAN encompasses the entire spectrum of pancreatic research, including:  

• Pancreatic Function & Disorders: Normal physiology, endocrine and exocrine function, diabetes mellitus, and congenital pancreatic disorders.  
• Pancreatic Diseases & Management: Etiology, epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions such as pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, and cystic fibrosis.  
• Advanced Diagnostic & Therapeutic Approaches: Imaging techniques (e.g., endoscopic ultrasound), surgical interventions, novel treatment modalities, and prognostic markers.
