Biography
Corrado Angelini is Faculty at Fondazione Stella Maris, Marina di Pisa-Tirrenia-Calambrone, Italy, where his research focuses on muscular dystrophy, metabolic disorders, glycogenoses, mountain medicine, and behavioural neuroscience. His academic career includes positions as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Padova (1973–1993), with visiting appointments at the Reed Neurological Research Center at UCLA Medical School (1978–1979) and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver (1984). He has served as Director of the Neuromuscular Center and Biobank for Rare Neurorehabilitative Diseases at IRCCS S. Camillo (2010–present), contributing to BBMRI Eric and Eurobiobank. His most-cited work, "Review: Danon disease: Review of natural history and recent advances" (2019), has received 93 citations, and he has authored over 46 indexed publications.
