Biography
Manouchehr Omidvari currently serves as an Ergonomics Adviser and 5S Adviser at Oghab in Tehran, Iran. He previously held academic positions at Islamic Azad University, including appointments as associate professor and assistant professor in the Department of Engineering and Department of Safety Industrial Engineering from 2001 to 2016, and worked as a Research Assistant at Qazvin Islamic Azad University during the same period. His research focuses on safety engineering, with particular emphasis on contractor selection methodologies for high-risk industries. His most-cited work, "A pattern of contractor selection for oil and gas industries in a safety approach using ANP-DEMATEL in a Grey environment" (2018), demonstrates his expertise in applying advanced decision-making frameworks to safety-critical industrial contexts.
