Tissue histology is the microscopic study of the different kinds of tissues that make up an organism. It focuses on both the structure and function of these tissues. Histology is an important tool for healthcare professionals, as it can be used to detect diseases and abnormalities, and to aid in diagnosing and treating them. Also, specific types of histological analysis are used to study the effects of various treatments. Histology is also used in the research of cancer, infectious diseases, and the functioning of different body systems.
