Aims and Scope

At the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (IJOE), we are committed to providing a platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise between clinicians, researchers, policy makers, and stakeholders from around the world. Our aim is to facilitate collaboration between the various disciplines in this area and promote a greater understanding of occupational and environmental medicine. The journal encourages original, pioneering research from all areas of occupational and environmental medicine and draws from a wide range of methodological approaches.

We strive to publish cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research that is of significant scientific importance to the field of occupational and environmental medicine. The journal seeks to cover the latest findings related to primary care, workplace-related illnesses, public health, occupational safety and health, environmental health and epidemiology, environmental toxicology, environmental physiology, industrial hygiene, and regulatory practices.

The scope of International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine( IJOE ) extends beyond the classical scope of occupational and environmental medicine and includes manuscripts related to occupational and environmental public health, medical research, sociology, economics, technology, disaster management, and climate change. Manuscripts must be clearly focused on occupational and environmental medicine and must demonstrate a tangible benefit to either the occupation or the environment. In addition, authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts discussing health, safety, and environmental issues with special attention to the roles of different stakeholders.
