Submit Your Concept
Send a concise proposal (2–3 pages) describing the theme, rationale, anticipated impact, and target audiences. Include short biographies for up to three guest editors.
Editorial Review
IJN’s leadership team evaluates scope fit, timeliness, and reviewer availability. We may suggest refinements to strengthen the positioning and author appeal.
Launch the Call
Once approved, collaborate with our office to finalize key dates. We publish the call for papers, activate submission categories, and begin targeted outreach.
Peer Review & Publication
Guest editors manage reviews within our ScholarOne-style workflow. Accepted articles appear online continuously, with the complete special issue compiled upon final acceptance.
- Working title and 250-word overview of the special issue theme.
- Suggested article types (original research, systematic reviews, perspectives, case studies, etc.).
- Timeline preferences for manuscript submissions and final publication.
- Names, affiliations, and contact details of guest editor(s), plus ORCID IDs if available.
- List of potential contributors or networks you intend to invite (optional but helpful).
