Indexing and Discoverability
Journal registration, DOI registration, metadata harvesting, scholarly discovery and digital preservation are five different things, and none of them is selective journal-level indexing.
This page states which of them applies to the Journal of Current Scientific Research, and links the record for each, so the status can be read at the service that holds it.

What these categories mean
DefinitionsPublishers routinely present all of these under one heading. They are not equivalent, and the difference decides what a reader can conclude about a journal. Each row says what the category is and, just as importantly, what it is not.

Journal identification
ISSNThe journal is registered with the ISSN International Centre as ISSN 2766-8681, under the key-title Journal of current scientific research. An ISSN identifies a serial publication; it is assigned on registration and carries no assessment of the journal.

DOI registration and metadata
CrossrefRegistered articles carry a Crossref DOI under the prefix 10.14302 and keep it permanently. The journal holds a Crossref journal record under Open Access Pub, and each deposit registers the article's metadata alongside its identifier: title, authors, publication date, volume and issue, page range and license.
That deposited metadata is what most other services read. Registering a DOI is infrastructure for citation and resolution — it is available to any member publisher and is not, in itself, indexing.

Where the DOIs appear
Each article record in the Archive and the Current Issue carries its identifier as the published article carries it.
Metadata harvesting
OAI-PMHOpen Access Pub publishes an OAI-PMH endpoint, the standard interface aggregators and repositories use to collect metadata. The journal has its own set within it, so a harvester can take this journal's records specifically, in Dublin Core.
Publishing the endpoint makes the records available to be collected. It does not establish that any particular aggregator has collected them, and no aggregator is named here on the strength of it.

Scholarly discovery
Open servicesTwo open scholarly services hold a record for this journal and for its articles. Both build their catalogs from published metadata and citation links; a journal appears in them because its metadata is public, not because it has been evaluated against criteria. They are useful for finding and citing work, and they are not selective indexes.
- OpenAlexAn open catalog of scholarly works, authors and sources. The journal and its articles are represented in it as a source record.
OpenAlex source record (opens in a new tab) - Semantic ScholarA scholarly search service built on a citation graph. It holds a venue record for the journal, with the articles it has collected listed under it.
Semantic Scholar venue record (opens in a new tab) - Author identifiersEditors and authors are displayed with their ORCID iD where one has been supplied. An ORCID iD resolves to a record maintained by that person, not by the journal, and it is an identifier rather than an index.

Selective journal-level indexing
What it is and who decidesSelective indexing is decided by each database against its own published criteria, on its own timetable, and a decision applies to the journal as a whole rather than to individual articles. No publisher can grant it to itself, and none of the categories above amounts to it.

PubMed Central deposit
Eligible NIH-funded manuscripts may be deposited individually in PubMed Central through the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS).
Deposit of an individual manuscript does not indicate that JCSR is indexed at the journal level in PubMed, MEDLINE, or PubMed Central.
How the metadata is prepared
Titles, author names with ORCID iDs where supplied, affiliations, abstracts, keywords, funding and license terms are deposited with each article. Accurate metadata is what makes a record findable, and it is prepared as part of production rather than added afterward.
What authors can do
A precise title, an informative abstract and keywords that name the actual methods and materials do more for discovery than anything the journal adds later.
Digital preservation
PorticoThis journal’s content is committed to Portico, a not-for-profit digital-preservation archive run by ITHAKA (the organization behind JSTOR). As articles are deposited they enter Portico’s permanent archive, so the scholarly record stays available for the long term — even if a title one day ceases to publish.
Portico’s publisher page lists the participating titles and the current state of each, so the journal’s entry can be read there rather than taken from this page.
