Otitis Media

Otitis media is a middle ear infection that commonly affects children. It is caused by a bacterial or viral infection, which leads to inflammation of the middle ear, resulting in pain, fever, and temporary hearing loss. Early detection and treatment of otitis media is important to reduce the potential for complications, which can include hearing loss, facial paralysis, and mastoiditis.
