Biography

Dr. Saad Jan is an Assistant Professor at Bacha Khan University Charsadda, Charsadda, Pakistan. He completed his PhD in Agricultural Entomology and Insect Control from Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, China. His research focuses on insect physiology and molecular entomology, including studies on cuticle protein genes during metamorphosis, temperature-dependent development and fecundity of pest species, and comparative analyses of pupal cuticle structures and gene expression profiles. His most-cited publication examines the temperature-dependent development and fecundity of Pseudococcus cryptus (2025). Prior to his academic appointment, Dr. Jan served for six years as R&D Manager for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province at Kanzo Ag.
