Overview

Anxiety disorders are a group of mental health conditions characterized by excessive fear, worry, and related behavioral disturbances that interfere with daily functioning. Research published in this journal addresses multiple dimensions of anxiety disorders relevant to Family Medicine practice, including investigations into the neurobiological mechanisms underlying anxiety, such as the role of cholecystokinin in fear and anxiety responses.
