Biography

  • Douglas' background is multifarious but he has specialised in medical statistics, formerly at the Tenovus Institute for Cancer Research, University of Wales College of Medicine, and at institutions elsewhere, and as a senior statistician in the Research Design Service at the universities of Durham and Southampton.
  • He is a Chartered Statistician and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology and has a number of interests which include community health, endocrinology and chronobiology.
  • A complementary background is published in The Open Nutraceuticals Journal, 2013, volume 6, pp51-55, where he has been honoured (in that volume) for his contribution to science.
